Hello quick question, when I lock my polo with the remote is there anyway to stop the annoying beep it makes or is it all part of the alarm?

Need VAGCOM and theres an option to disable the lock/unlock beep.

Sound as if the option is only set on lock for you.

Depends what model, as above if it's a 9n or later you can use VAGCOM.

On earlier ones it most probably an aftermarket alarm, and you can either remove the siren or find the main unit and there is probably a switch or jumper that beads changing to stop the beep.
