Mk2 Golf Gti - Brake Calipers, Front + Rear. VW2?

Featured Replies

For sale are a set of front and rear brake calipers removed from a 1988 Mk2 Golf GTI 8v.

You will get:

2 x Front calipers, with pads with plenty of wear left in them (and retaining pins).

2 x Rear calipers, with pads with plenty of wear left in them (and retaining pins and handbrake cable retaining clip).

1 x Rear caliper carrier ( The other one was seized on the vehicle).

2 x Front discs with plenty of wear left in them (retaining screws included).

Everything you see here is in 100% working condition, the seals are good and the handbrake mechanism's are not seized etc.

The disc sizes are:

Front discs are 239mm x 20mm

Rear discs are 226mm x 10mm

Price = £50 collected, £60 couriered anywhere in the U.K.

Thanks

Can't temp anybody!?

Perhaps if you were to state that the fronts are vw2 calipers it will tempt people as they can upgrade their non g40 brakes...

I'm not entirely sure of what the exact conversion is, I just know people run various Golf calipers on Polo's. So these are definitely VW2 front calipers? If so I'll edit my post.

Thanks

Charlie

Check on the caliber it should have "VWll" printed on it somewhere
