G40 Twin V-belt Bottom Pulley

Featured Replies

Had this lying around since buying a G40 engine, no longer needed as I've sold that engine now.

£25 posted. Its heavy for what it is so due to postage costs I won't budge on that price I'm afraid. Or, £20 collected.

Thanks,

Arun :-)

I'm pretty sure these bottom pulleys are interchangeable between all polo engines, but I couldn't tell you for definite. I will find out for you :-)

Thanks buddy if you could find out thatd be great as I'm gonna need it for my pikeyboost conversion haha! Do you have bolts for it also or are they just a standard kinda size?

I'm fairly sure most early polos engines have the 4 holes for a G40 pulley to attach too, if not - I shouldnt see why a g40 crankshaft pully wouldnt fit to a HK.

Mine just used normal allen bolts eric, VW will be able to tell you the proper specs, or someone with autodata ect

G pulley has different teeth i think mate

ahhhh correct, couldnt you just convert all the engine to square tooth pully (cam pully and water pump) as VW did it for a reason. I think it could be a wise move anyway with 100+bhp.

You could just tap 4 wholes into your Crank pully

Isnt the actual camshaft a different design though? So the other pulley wont fit?

I fitted a GF bottom pully to a g40 engine. so it will work the other way around 100% :D
