I have owned this car for five years, when I usually get rid of cars after a few months to a year; that should be testament to how good it’s been! I have treated this car like a baby – no expense spared regular servicing, NEVER thrashed or even driven remotely hard, washed/polished/waxed regularly using top quality products, etc. I displayed the car at Players 2010 and 2011 shows. It’s a fun and easy car to drive. The peddle box was fixed (a very common problem on Lupos and Arosas) by Parkstone Seat in Essex a few years ago. I also had a very comprehensive service including cambelt and water pump carried out by Parkstone a few years ago.

GOOD POINTS:

• 100% reliable – I have done about 33,000 miles in the last five years and it has never let me down.

• Cheap to run – group 5 insurance with no performance modifications, does around 340 miles to a tank, £140 a year road tax.

• HavAir kit is awesome – goes extremely low, good ride comfort.

• Looks awesome parked up, sits really nice with slight poke at the rear and tuck at the front.

• Sony Drive-S head unit with radio / CD / MP3 and standard speakers

BAD POINTS:

• I managed to spill a tub of emulsion in the boot which left paint on the boot floor, backs of rear seats (right at the bottom, hardly visible) and in the spare wheel well. I cleaned most of it off but the boot floor could do with replacing.

• Small scuff on the rear bumper where someone kindly nudged the car and drove off.

• Paint has flaked slightly on the osr arch where it was rolled. There is no sign of rust but the area will need a touch-up eventually.

• Small scratches on drivers door, bonnet.

• Rear wheels are original silver paint, front wheels are crackle mat black finish, and all have very light curbing, so will need repainting (and maybe a refurb if you are fussy)

• Very small rust blisters appearing on the front edge of the roof, above the driver’s side.

located in Basildon, Essex.

as for price, I originally had it advertised at £4000 or £3600 without the wheels, however  I just got back from a hospital appointment where I was told not to drive for 12 months :x so it has to go asap. basically, make me a reasonable offer and its yours. I won't give it away, but I now need it gone, so try me.

thanks, Mike. pics to follow...
