i looked to day and i do have rubbing on my drive shaft and i couldnt take my helpers out and have it all the way down coz then i might as well be the same and the kid with the gti no springs. oh well i dont really no anythin i ant going to lie to you all dont no much about polos that is whhy in here to learn thin and i probly and 120 low but as i said only going by what the advert said so dont shoot me will you. oh well anoth with all the crap you lot are all so agressive lol but there sorry I'm off to take all my springs out and to sort my drive shaft out i no what I'm doing here I'm just going to remove them.

That chassis notch would just burst at the tops with the lightest tap imo. It doesn't even wrap around and there's nothing to stop the box section from bulging out in the area it will attempt to do so. Also it's far too small - The energy that would've been spread over a wide area will now all be on a one-inch section. Just awful.

The cosmetic aspect is neither here nor there.

I actually now run the gayest wheels ever fitted to a Polo (part from teddies, obviously). I'll put a pic up if we're going for a record of gayness.

to be honest when you see coilovers they do generally state different results will be achieved on different cars, i guess if they say they will go down to 120 there is a chance they could , but not many cars will take that without modifications ,

tbh, i may aswell have ran with no springs, mine on the breadvan were purely there for show after i cut them too short and it sat on bumpstops

But atleast i didnt take them out completely, and still not have decent lows haha. Fail!

The mess is seam sealer, it's as bad from the factory in many places.

My point was the shape/method/engineering.

I remember seeing a MK1 Golf cabrio in PVW with fully chrome plated front discs, bit of a fail in that they had slight scoring marks of only one or two revolutions, perhaps either from binding when it was being pushed, or the owner had to push the pedal when it came off the trailer.. Fail!

I've seen that dirty notch with my own eyes and it's fine, the picture and all the shit covering it doesn't do it any favours really. Not that anyone should ever need a notch because my man is dropped 300ft with no scrubbing or whatever he said haha
