Weber Dmtr Carb Now Sold

Featured Replies

Now sold

So I've finally done my AFH conversion - this means that I have some bits for a mk1/2/3 1.3l Polo up for sale - including my Weber carb.

I actually have the original sales reciept for this carb, I paid way too much for it, brand new from Southern Carbs. I think it came to about £400 - I can give you that reciept with the carb if you like. The reason I bought brand new is because I wanted something reliable as at the time I was driving it daily and it's not let me down since I bought it. You can see there has been no expense spared with my car, my build thread is here >

I've had the carb for about 2 years (edit - just checked my build thread, it was fitted on 14th May 2010) it's done about 8000 miles since new and has always been garaged and generally babied.

It's jetted for a 1.3 and is a great replacement for the standard Pierburg.

The only negative here is I'm keeping the choke cable, so you'll need to find one of those - but I'm sure that's not too hard.

I'm based in Caterham, Surrey and would prefer cash on collection. I'm after £120 and am open to sensible offers.

Have some pics:

Thanks for looking.

Sorry, I'm after some cash to pay for a rolling road day to set up my bike carbs on the AFH.

If you're strapped for cash you can always make me an offer. ;)
