So after owning only old dubs for the few years i have been driving, i have finally bought a fairly new seat leon, when i was viewing it i saw that it had a button inside that said 'econ' on it, just wondering if anyone knows what this is?

Before anyone says check the owners manual i haven't actualy picked up the car yet so cant check.

I was thinking economy, but i expected it to be for the engine generally.

Mine has such an economy button, it's where my right foot is, and that seems sufficient. But that's a bit too challenging for today's motorist surely? Far too many variables, requires thought/attention.

So i expect a new car to have an economy button (along with self parking, anti stall etc), so the driver can carry on booting it mindlessly whilst getting better economy. It's what the world has come to, so i recon it's only a matter of time.

On climate control cars the A/C is always on, acts like an air dryer in the winter to de-mist windows faster and of course a cooler in the summer, ECON just turns off the A/C side.
