I cant seem to find a thread anywhere that shows how to install a Boost gauge.

I have an idea on the wiring but its choosing which pipe in which to install the T for the gauge.

I own a 1.9 TDI PD100 Polo and was wondering if anyone else has installed a gauge to theres, or similar PD engines?

Any help is useful!

My last post may have been a tad vague, so I've got some pictures of under the bonnet (apologies for how un-clean it is)

From a search on other forums last night id found out a bit more as to the location of the pipe i need to tap into but still I'm unsure!

I've circled the two that are what i think people were on about on the other forums,

The red circle leads to a box in the top left of my bay, these pipes are numbered, if anyone else has this and one of these is the pipe, maybe somone could reference it?

I'm thinking it is probably the red circled one as the other seems to be fuel related.

The second pic I think Is the fuel pump so you better off not taping into one of them!

I'm sure there must be someone on this forum that has done this and will be along to point iyou in the right direction.

Aren't they both vacuum hoses???

On a google search, one forum says to tap into the line coming from the Fuel Pressure Regulator?

I'd have thought they're vacuum lines.

Boost gauges usually go in a boost hose like an intake hose after the turbo I thought

After a bit more research, I've looked on TDI SPort forum and a guy on there was saying about a pipe coming off the EGR Valve.

So the pipe I've circled red?

Most people say it wants to be installed with the Fuel Pressure Regulator line... can anyone tell me where this is?
