I was wondering, Whats hardest Metallic or Matt. When i say Hardest i mean to match up!

I don't know the answer but I hate Matt black cars they take no imagination atall ...

Why would you Matt black your car? Just give it a blow over with the colour it is DICK.

matt paint goes on very patchy and if not painted overlapping properly then you'll see lighter/darker lines right down the car

matt is very dificult to paint out of a gun, if you apply too many coats you get a more glossy finish due to the depth and if you dont get a good clean finish then theres not a whole lot you can do with it. if he buys/mixes enough metalic then you shouldnt have any match issues, just be sure to get an even coverage and put a nice drop coat on it, its all pretty much down to how good your mate is and if he actualy knows what hes doing

your actually special arent you lol

You say metalic v matt, asif you cant have both....

Mines steel blue (which is metalic) but its satin.

I'm going to do it Matt Black or a black?!

why black? could try red oxide/ army matt colour or matt orange!

What's wrong with the color u got now ..Matt blacks for homos , hi Eric;)

All metallic is satin-matt, that's why you need to laquer it.

So if you're set on black, there are a hundred metallic blacks to choose from - metallic gunmetal grey looks evil A.F without clearcoat gloss over it.

Jakes idea sounds good ha! :) is Metallic easier to get right then matt?

Why do you care? You ain't painting it are you ;)

Literally, any colour you can possibly think of you can do in any finish you like.

Why do people always go for matt black, or nato colours. you bunch of lazy, un-imaginative pricks

Thats all :)

Looks sick, untill a Bird poos on it ;) lol

Satin pearl grey... it would look sick, so just fucking do it!

Satin indian red, would look fucking bad.

Go walk round some car showrooms and look at the cars/paint charts. Find a colour you think is awesome, get code. go buy basecoat as normal, then go gett clearcoat and add matting agent.

More matting agent, the more matt it goes.

But you use a lot, mine was 50/50 clearcoat/matting agent, and its a bit off full matt.

Why would imagination even come into it? It's about what colour you like, not what is the most imaginative you can think of. It's because of that why of thinking that people end up driving around with 4 different coloured painted steels thinking their the shit

Imagination is the wrong hands is dangerous

why would imagination come into it? because its your imagination that put the ideas in your head of what your car could look like and having a good imagination helps build great cars, thats why it comes into it
