6n2 GTIiiiiite.

Featured Replies

So this is my second go at a VW, i made a horribe mistake and sold my MK2 golf to buy a MX5 and then spent a year regretting it. The engine finally let go in the Mazda so I got rid and ended up with this :)

The GF has a 1l White 6n2 so i know they are quality cars, and frankly the best shape polo, so when i saw this up for sale i had to have it. It's great fun to drive, feels faster than my MX5 ever did, and it looks better too.

Few mods:

BBS RMs (6.5 + 7.5)

Lowered on coilovers

Some air filter thing.. BMC?

Alpine radio

Personal Grinta KINGSTON edition (Best steering wheel ever made)

Driftworks snap off boss.

and my Bozozoku ring ;P

Few plans but time will tell as to what i get done. Hopefully going to create something special :)

These are my previous attempts at modification :p

did you sell the 3 spokes with the mx5?

I like the RM's but i'd have been tempted to see what them 3 spokes would look like on it

how much did the snap off boss set you back if you don't mind me asking

MX looks pimp, i hope the 2' goes as low ;)

Modifying cars, you're doing it right!

All these are fookin low as well, props!

I like low cars :p

Destroying subframes and creating sparks is fun. Saying that both those cars suited being low, the engines sat well above the subframe (The MX5 had raised engine mounts aswel) so no sump issues. Don't fancy going as static low with the polo as the alloy sump probably wont take much abuse.

No real updates on the Polo, just waiting till i get paid then the wheels are being sorted. Had it MOT'd and it's now got 12 months on it which is good :)

The 3 spokes didn't fit, the Center bore was wrong and i didn't want to mess them up trying to get them on. And the boss is from Driftworks, cost £60 i think. If you want one don'f buy a Cheapo one as you'll only regret it, they all end up with play. Driftworks one is solid.

It's beautiful. Like your previous cars. The steering wheel is very good, which is the diameter? What tires you drive back?

i think the sump sits pretty high on the 6n2 .. mine did anyways

all your cars looked great :D goooood work

Thankyou :) Really like

Yeah the Sump is not bad, but my GFs has taken a few minor hits so i need to be careful.

In that picture i'm running 185/45 on the 7.5j rears.

The wheel is 330mm. It came with a Momo team 280mm which was a joke. Far too small, made the car too jittery. 330 is a good size :)

Minor changes since the last pictures. Got some new lips for the RMS so i now have 8j and 7.5j. I ran them for 2 weeks and have now taken them off ready for winter and a rebuild. I wasn't happy with how it sat with the tires and i hate the colour of the centers so they're all off and split ready for a new colour and rebuild :)

This is the only picture of the wheels i have uploaded

More updates soon, got a few things planned for the coming weeks :)
