Let me know how you sort the exhaust i need to do mine too!

Took it all off from the cat back, got some aseteline bottles on the go. So I bent the big bend (that goes around the fuel tank) that's between the middle box & back box so it now sits higher up in the car. Replaced all the rubbers with new ones & now I have about 4 inch clearance

Got reported for my pressed plates last night as well !

Looks nice that. I think everyone has had exhaust issues with MK3's. The hangers and design of the exhaust is crap.

Those pressed plates arent legal, as they are in German style font, also you arent allowed the 'D'. Saying that, my dads camper has the same font, and he has passed 2 MOT's

I knew they weren't legal before I bought them but a few mates have them with no hassle, the first night I put them on I get my details taken

UPDATE

For once on a Saturday night I chose my car over the pub, now I wish I hadn't...

I was taking a mate home to a village just out of town, driving down a long straight road at about 50mph then all of a sudden we stop dead in water about a foot deep. Couldn't see the water at all until we were in it. Took a while to start but shes running sweet after swallow some water. It Ripped both my front arch trims off (which i managed to retrieve one decent one) & my rear bumper

Not so much secret its just early days so it could not even happen yet. What bits you after? I am planing on keeping a fair bit of stuff off it.

After a O/S/F arch trim & the clip thats holds the bumpstrip part of the arch for the N/S thats about it, youll have to tell me what you selling when we go edition & ill see whats what

this thing looks feckin awesome! shame your not coming to action would love to see it in person.

Took the motor to a local body shop for a bit of paint & machine polish, she polished up well :-)

Just need to get hold of some arch trims for the front...

Travelled down to Overstone Park for Edition, didn't get many snaps of the 'Loon

Picked up some 'Legal' pressed plates at E38 & I finally got hold of some arch trims so i'll be putting them on tomorrow :-)

Last night a mate picked up a Polo Match with 56k on the clock, Caribbean green

He got to work bringing the paint back to its former glory

Extremely slow progress just now with having no money to my name.

Got some 15mm Spacers for the rear & that's all for now :(

Had a stainless made up last week, I wasnt going for anything loud just purely for the aestetics. 2" tailpipe with silencer & backbox. I also Put my spacers on ready for GTI...

Perfect, right? I had major scrub so they came back off while I sort my arches.

Didnt get any shots of the 'loon at GTI, I was parked in the bit of a car park they provided. Wish I had gone on the Club stand now but hey ho. Took a few photo's when I got back home, sorry about the quality.
