My insurance company is making me put my 6N2 in for it's MOT early, because I had an accident a few months ago and only now they've decided it might not be road worthy.

Anyway there have been a couple of problems with it but they're mostly rectified now. First of all the front washer jets leak a bit when they're activated, this is around the joint where the pipe meets the jet. They still work and wash the windscreen and everything, I wouldn't be suprised if the rear jet did that as well, would it pass an MOT based on this?

Secondly, because I couldn't find a bumper the right colour I've bought an aftermarket bumper which I'm using on the car temporarily until I find a bumper at the right price in the right colour (dark metallic green). Anyway, although it's a non-OEM bumper will it still pass the MOT.

These may seem like silly questions but I'm a bit paranoid about stuff like this, really it shouldn't be due till about November for an MOT, but to keep my insurance cover I've got to get it done, and I want it to pass first time ideally.

You shouldnt have any problems with the jets or bumper so long as the bumper has nothing sticking out that could harm pedestrians and its mounted securely

As above the as long as the washers cover the windscreen I doubt they will look further into it, although if they do then a cable tie will fix it nicely.

Also is the aftermarket bumper a body kit type thing? If so then as long as its secured and has no protruding sharp edges then it won't have a problem, colour doesn't matter also.
