SOLD - G40 Front Seats Excellent Condition £50

Featured Replies

NOW SOLD TO REDDOG - PICKED UP AND PAID FOR.

Some G40 Seats I bought off Kam yonks ago that was destined for my MK1 project, but that went tits-up when the wife announced she was pregnant. Sold the MK1 pretty much as soon as I bought it, but for some reason kept these.#

These are in excellent condition. All bolsters are perfect. There is a bit of dusty muck on the drivers seat from storage. Could do with a bit of a clean or a wet vax etc.

£50 collection, or local delivery. SK15 Manchester area. Can deliver locally for the cost of my fuel.

A couple of things to point out:

  1. The passenger side is missing the seat belt clip section. This just bolts on to the frame when you locate one from a scrappers or whatever.
  2. The drivers side tilt mech needs a new cable. For those that don't know this is just a bike brake cable type wire, cut to the correct length with two metal crimps on each end. You can easily get to to the catch by removing the material clips/pins at the bottom of the seat back and gradually move the material up the frame. You lot always want a challenge so there you go - that's your challenge!
  3. There's some slight surface rust on the drivers side seat-base frame. Most of this rubbed off when I lightly touched it, so not structural in any way!

Absolutely no rips, tears or fag burns whatsoever.

Some pics of how they have been stored (in my garage, not on the patio!)
