basically i just sold my jetta,

i ordered a new tax disc for the new owner as it has run out but he decided he didnt want the tax as it will be off the road for a while,

.....so i gave him the new keeper supplement... i havnt filled the v5 in yet as i need to refund the tax..... can i still get it refunded even though the new keeper supplement is missing from the v5????

Fill in form V14:https://forms.direct.gov.uk/forms/form/14/e...on_for_a_refund where you attach the tax disc and send back to the DVLA. At the same time, I'd go online and SORN the car as well.

Then wait 'til you've got the tax refund back before posting off the V5C with the new owner's details.
