*RANT*

Almost crashed on the way home 'cause some idiot decided not to indicate on a island... it looked as though he was going straight on too... Very last second he spins his car round the island. I had to slam on my brakes.

Also, the other week some bimbo decided to be on my rear quarter panel for a good 50 meters... even though all the signs clearly stated merge into one lane. 3 lane - dual carriage way. She was in the inside lane. I've always gone by the rule give way to the right. Clearly she hasn't a clue of this rule and persisted to stay with my rear quarter... Cars in front of me, behind and to the side. So i sounded the horn!! next think i see is her breaking very very hard then going off on one at me. Then she decided to cut someone up dive by me and start shouting abuse. So me been a plum i decided to wind down my window, shout "ALWAYS GIVE WAY TO THE RIGHT" and decided to rag in and cut her up then drove on.

Other pet hates:

People riding clutch edging forward at traffic lights... Drive me mad.

People going to slow in the outside lane and "hogging" it.

People trying to squeeze by a car to get to a turn right / left signal... only to end up been at a red anyway!

People who drive up your arse even though they see other cars in front of you.

People who brake late (Sometimes they scare me o0)

People who wont let you merge... they seem to think everyone wants to just jump the queue. Not always the case.

Just to sum up a few things...

That is all.

Repost.

But mine is impatient undertaking, and i was reminded why just recently.

I was approching a slip lane with traffic entering the bypass. I was on the bypass, in the right hand lane. A BMW driver decided to try and undertake me. Now i don't play with traffic and if it was safe then i would've just let him, bearing in mind he was running out of time before the slow car in front of him acted as a wall.

But i needed my braking distance for the cars coming onto the carriageway. If i'd let him undertake, then he'd have had to swerve right in front of my bumper and leave me zero braking distance. He's then gonna have to brake and i'm gonna be at risk of running into him!

So i toe'd it just enough to shut the door, but still leave me safe from vehicles in front. He went ballistic of course, having to brake hard and tuck in behind me. Then when we were past the slip road and out of danger, i could pull in and let him past. He just acted like a spoilt brat, gave a load of abuse, and sped off in a cloud of black diesel soot.

This was fine, but all i could think was that at no point did he realize the danger he tried to put us both in! Completely oblivious. I might have saved an accident, and he'll never know. Because i'm aware of what i'm doing, and he's a wanka.

I don't like wankas.

Yep repost.

Agree with mikey on the undertaking thing.

Also hate people who:

pull out without looking, or pull out anyway having seen you coming.

pull out, and then dont accelerate. If your going, go!

Tailgate when i'm doing the speed limit, especially on the motorway.

who fail to get up to the speed limit when theres a clear road.

Wait for a gap big enough for a bus before they pull out.

I am one of those that goes 'too slow' in the outside lane. But 'too slow' is the speed limit i'm afraid, and theres nothing the train of range rovers and X5's (and probabbly yellow 6n2's) behind can do about it :lol:

People who don't signal or signal late as they enter a roundabout. Am I supposed to guess where they are going or something?

People that do 5mph under the speed-limit.

Lorries overtaking each other. Seriously, guys, stop it, please.

And my all time favourite incident: Going along on a 60mph road behind someone doing 40. Traffic comes they other way so what do they do? Hit the brakes pretty hard and pull right over to the grass. Seriously, whoever you are; don't fucking drive, you clearly aren't capable.

people who drive along whilst having a conversation, looking at each other and often crawling along at a silly low speed miles below the limit. if you wanna have a chat fuckin pull over and not drive paying zero attention.

had afew run ins with people doing it and ill soon voice my opinions (or run them over if they're stupid enough to get out and have a go)

Makes you wonder how these people ever got there licences in the first place! :doubt:

I was going post last night I think people should randomly be selected to take a retest every now and again. If you are a competent driver no charge and if you are a total @#@# who cant drive for @#@# you pay to be retested... my horn doesnt half get some use

That's just dangerous, the outside lane is for overtaking only.

People who don't understand merging... wind me up.

People who merge early leave a lane open for ages and then get annoyed because I merge where the arrows are and get past everyone.

People who disrupt the flow of traffic to let someone out a junction. - women this morning was stopped letting someone out of a drive way and nearly took me out.

People who indicate and don't watch for someone letting them out.

people who dont indicate, ffs all you have to do is flick a lever, it takes about 0.3 seconds to do :| but then again i spose most people are that retarded that it takes them about 10 minutes just to think about it :@

Old people, why are they still driving? they get bus travel for free! Moan about not having any money for heating bills, get off the road, sell your car and stop paying petrol and insurance and boom, nice and cosy bungalow for when you pop your cloggs! ...... this is because I've been hit by an old guy running a red light when i was crossing a few years back and because i got behind a guy the other day doing 5-10 in a 40 but there wasnt room to over take, he too proceeded to run a red light at a cross road (are they really all that blind?) , i caught up with him after stopping at the lights ,managed to squeeze past and as i did he decided to start doing 40 and kept up with me :@ DAFUQ!

No one needs to know my business!

knobs who don't see traffic has stopped. I was casually pulling up at some lights behind some traffic, I stopped and was hit from behind by a guy who was hit bit a idiot who didn't see everyone had stopped the force at which he hit the car behind also pushed me into the car in front. had an inspector out today and my polo is a write off. Fucking insignia driving berk.

Taxi drivers. Stop parking in the middle of the road and making people wait when there is a space to pull up in. Learn to use your indicators. Learn to say thank you when someone lets you past. Don't go out of your way to stop people pulling out of junctions etc etc

+1!!!!!!!!!

when you're in a queue of slow moving traffic and some fucker comes blaring down a side road and forces their way in to the gap between you and the car in front

people that get in the left lane at islands, then proceed to go right

people that think they don't need to look when moving over (dual carriage ways, motorways) just because they've popped their indicator on

lorries that quite happily sit behind one another right until the point where you're level with their arse end, then they pull out

buses, but worse than buses fucking cyclists, especially when you're sat at red lights and they squeeze right up the inside of the you then carry on like the lights arent even there

Pet hates:

People on phone ( amount of people i see)

tailgating even though i cant go any faster due to a car infront

cutting up

lack of road safety and inteligance

Tell me how its dangerous? :disgust: I'm overtaking slower traffic, and sticking to the limit. I dont just sit there all the time. Everyone behind are the dangerous ones. Tailgating and trying (but failing) to intimidate me to go faster, or move over and cut someone up by doing so.

The people merging 'too soon', are doing it in good time. You are merging too late and pushing in. Cant stand that. Its you that doesnt understand merging . Anyone trys that on me doesnt get let in. And if they keep coming they simply end up on the wrong side of the road, or against the kerb.

So your saying that, knowingly putting other road users in danger through your own driving style is perfectly fine then. Once you have gone past the vehicle you are overtaking you must then return to the inside lane, otherwise you are driving without due care and attention and purposely blocking people from merging because in your opinion they have left it too late is simply just dangerous driving.

Sometimes these people have passengers in their cars and surprisingly they dont have any say in how the vehicle is driven. You are also putting these people at risk.

1. kids on bmxs. not seen any with lights on at night and therefore almost invisible to other road users and they have no sense of danger and treat the road and the pavement as a track with no thought for pedestrians or drivers. (at work i've witnessed a few kids getting knocked off and its always their stupidity that causes them to be hit and the car driver always ends up having to pay to get their car fixed!! :x) the police won't stop them even though they say they are keeping a look out, but nothing will happen until at least one of them is killed. at which point it is too late for the driver which hits them and the emergency services which has to clean up the mess.

2. cars going slower than wagons, there's no excuse for it!

3. taxi drivers in my area they show complete disregard for speed limits and usually drive dangerously.

People that do 5mph under the speed-limit.

Lorries overtaking each other. Seriously, guys, stop it, please.

Is that a joke?

A:) It's a speed LIMIT not a target

B:) Do you seriously expect lorries to never overtake each other? Imagine the result.. The whole outside lane of a motorway with lorries bumper to bumper going only as fast as the slowest lorry

Old drivers really annoy me, I don't care that they drive at 10mph rain or shine but they just have no perception of what's going on, they don't give way period and the fact they have no reactions is scary! They are just dangerous!!!!

Ohh and Lorry drivers indicating to pull into the middle lane of a motorway, they dont look at all before pulling out, seriously guys youre dangerous enough in the slow lane don't be overtaking each other and shit!

Try reading what i wrote properly before going off on one  . I do go back to the inside lane after overtaking. In fact saying that, with my puney power, i'm barely ever in the outside lane. Only when trucks are passing trucks or when overtaking lines of bumbling middle laners. The people who i block from merging are the knobs that drive down the out side of a que to get in front rather than waiting like everyone else. If they just wait in line there would be no problem. And its there choice to keep trying to push past when i'm clearly not going to give way to their Retaded self. Its called defensive driving. I'm not dangerous, its the people who i am defending my road position from that are.

Alot of lorry drivers take it in turn to be the front you know , for slipstream etc. You just watch some of them ..

sorry malaga, i read it as you wouldn't let people in from overtaking and generally merging back with traffic. People who push in a que of traffic can go to hell imo.

I also hate people who don't indicate on roundabouts.

But the worst one for me is, when you are on the inside lane turning right on a roundabout, and the fucktard next to you is going straight over and sees fit to completely cut you up by using THE WHOLE roundabout. Had a fair few near misses like this in the past. Unsurprisingly the idiots are almost always grey haired.
