If it's abused (don't treat it as a spam area - THINK BEFORE POSTING), it'll be scrapped

This is something that's been played out time and time again tbh. People get to know each other on here, the banter starts, it gets to a point that it gets on the mods tits, warnings are given, the users in question take the hump, we get to see a bit of user vr's mod action, people get banned... It's the circle of forum life

If you don't like a mod or the way they behave or conduct themselves, unfortunately its tough shit, as a forum user there is nothing we can do about it. The only option you have if you don't like the forum or the way its run is to start your own forum, run it how you see fit and leave the people you don't get on with behind. That was done before with a fair amount of success until the mods on that site started getting fed up with dealing with all the banter and they started banning people too. The circle of forum life

I'm changing the pattern, having rules doesn't work, so what I'm doing is stopping moderating by the rules, and at all for the most part, and just deleting anything within half a mile of anything that pisses me off. If someone's posting bollocks and hasn't posted anything useful lately, they're just getting the "select all posts".... "delete" treatment. Whatever we do as staff, someone's gonna piss and whinge about it, so I'm just doing what makes my life far easiest.

You already had one thread (the original) locked because it was full of shite, this was rapidly going the same way, hence locking it.

This is kind of a touchy subject, i posted earlier in here and it wasn't calling anyone a bellend or was it rude nor off topic and it got deleted but no biggy anyways.

I think it should be taken into consideration to atleast speak to people like humans there is really no need for the formal warnings etc, a simple post saying stay on topic and tone down the bad language is good enough, lack of communication is a big killer to any form of relationships may that be club members or admins.

People's disagreement towards the admin shouldn't be deleted either, we are all adult here, no need to let the bad days of our personal life upset the flow here.

I updated, with stuff id done, and progress with coilovers and lows, and mentioned problems id come accross and solved etc...

Not asif i asked for it to be opened, just someone i was talking to opened it. I didnt ask, rather t have been left locked than deleted.

We're looking into going back to blogs, so the OP posts are clean, and people can view comments on them if they want.

Remember when your first thread got deleted, and why? Wasn't like admin are being nobs for letting you have a second go, unfortunately it turned into a chatroom, along with Max's, Eric's, Nick's, Ben's, Jamie's etc etc. There's also a few members involved who are a warning away from being banned, hence me not warning anyone, as I'd thought people would be considerate enough to take note.

So to cut the shit we'll look into going to blogs, so everyone can enjoy reading the forum, and you guys can use whatsapp or facebook or msn to continue flirting and telling the world how much you hate Club Polo admin :-D

Just feels like you don't realise that most of the people in question are the ones that represent the club at most of the shows etc

We just like to chat, and deleting the thread that was made to do that in is just stupid.

So i started a new one with the intention of keeping it on topic.

And i held up my end of the bargain, nothing in there was off topic that i posted. There was some shit from others, to which i just ignored..
