Hi all, as some of you might no I left club polo for a wile and the vw world in search of crazy power leading me to my 420bhp evo. After owning that for a year I just missed to VW world and my old eaton mk4 polo. So basically I'm back but with BIG plans in the pipe line.!! Iv had emails with PVW how won't to feature the car once its finished...

I'm a current serving member of the armed forces so the car is being built with help for Heros in mind, to raise money at shows for our lads.! We are going to be setting up a PayPal for donations, going to as many meets and shows as possible in one show season we are aiming to make £2000 for Help for Heros..

So I guess I should give you the spec of the polo that is to be built

Mk3 polo GT shell ( still looking for a cheapish good solid shell )

Side exit exhaust

Fully stripped out

Seam welded shell

multi point roll cage

Stage 3 subframe

Coilovers

Bucket seats

Pollybushed

4 point harnesses

Strengthened rear beam

Large brake kit

Berg cup kit

G60 steels

Race pedle box

Half space framed front end ( to hold the engine )

sprayed in one of the new MTP camo colours

The engine as yet is not to be disclosed one a handful of people no :) but at first it will be NA to see what it's like then I'll be slapping on a turbo and winding up the boost with a nice TD05 turbo that i had on my evo to around 300whp

So what do we all think??

Haha that's just the title of the build course I'm going to be putting pics up :).. I'm just on the hunt for a good shell ATM, so anytime soon the body work and build will start.. The only thing that won't be pictured until it's fitted and tested

I wouldn't go mad for a GT shell. Only difference being in the shell is the bar that strengthens the rear axle and the rear axles can be had for £40. Other than that i think you will just end up spending a premium getting a polo GT shell. Probably harder to come by a clean one too.

Once stripped down and work starts you wouldn't even know it was a GT.
