Cheers mate, glad someone is  whats going of with the G40?

Not alot at the mo. got a topmount or balljoint which desperately needs changing but not had the chance lately with the other half being in and out of hospital and my back being screwed :( still collecting parts when they pop up (like a nitrous bottle  )

If it can wait till the new year, I can help you out. if you chuck me petrol money I can drive up and help you out mate (fully qualified mehcanic now) whats up with the mrs, hope she recovers soon! nitrous bottle sounds interesting!!

sounds good chap. I'm slowly learning bits n pieces as its the best way to learn by getting stuck in. id do the topmount myself but I'm starting to think the balljoints going awol and i usually use a prize bar to pop it out but even if i jump on it, my weight wont budge it  gonna start buying more bits for the car now I'm slightly better off so hopefully it'll be 100% before long.

mrs has been diagnosed with chronns disease which isnt good but not life threatening which must be a positive. probable surgery to cure it tho :(

nitrous bottle was uber cheap so if i can built up a whole kit cheaper than buying one from a company so much the better but i wanna buy a new turbo as well as getting Andy to remap it to make the performance/fuel consumption better.

4A14E545-CB47-47AC-8EFD-80BA860DDC3C-549 right got myself a new radiator and some nice coolant.

Jon, sounds good mate I will give you a hand mate, sorry to hear about that hopefully it will be under control soon! Also trying to pop the bottom balljoint on your own is annoying anyway never mind with a bad back :p

Got the RAD Fitted today, coolant, re fitted the lambda sensor, tightened the sump up more (solved slight drip) refitted front wing 95% happy with it. Got it running properly, chucked some fresh fuel. Deleted the 1.0 sign of the engine bay cover. Fitted new on the bottom hose. Ended the day with a trip to the scrap yard to get some bits and bobs of a CL, so really happy with how today has gone as I got some help today, doesn't sound like I've done alot but all these little niggles took ages!

I know for Xmas I have a front upper strut brace and some outer lower arm bushes. I'm currently buying GT injection and looking into buying ARB blocks to replace my powerflex items! All I need to do now is tidy up the sills, paint the wheels and engine bay and she will be ready to move back to my house :D

Should go well with the new bits 8-)

Cheers mate, this time next year I will be hoping to be over 90bhp with her, although speed doesnt bother me as much as getting it running right/maintianed and good for a few more years.

cheers dude. not seeing alot of her at the mo due to one reason or another (women eh? lol) and being 50miles away. its my right shoulder and lower back so I've gotta be uber careful incase i do myself a serious injury. hopefully after xmas i can get both topmounts and balljoints replaced along with some polybushing goodness.

Right so today, didnt go mental, but starting grinding the sills back, pictures are shit, the passenger side wont need much, already put the kurust stuff on, tomorrow will skin a light layer of filler prep and paint all tornado red! the drivers side isnt going to be mint but will will be tidy which is all I can wish for.
