Decided to smarten up the wheels and calm the colour down, need to lacquer the first one and polish the lip.

Fitted the outer bushes, looking shiny!

Fitted new track rod end and bar! £48 not happy!

Cv joint off to replace manly boot!

I did mate but they was getting abit rough to be honest and wanted to go abit more plain, still need a few bits going to convert in feb when I've got it motd and moved back to my property!

Its been a month since I updated, I've resembled the front suspension and moved the car back to my house today so hopefully more progress will be made now. Should get it MOT'ed in 2/3 weeks and then will put all the GT stuff straight on and other things I've been hoarding lol.

Here's a picture of her at home, I've sprayed the wheels black for the time being until I get them returned!

Will update this properly at some point. It now has MOT with no advisories and the conversion is underway!

Right Pretty much completed the GT conversion the only thing I need help with now is finding the black wire from ignition 15 as shown on the wiring diagram, I cannot find it and its stopping the car from starting without me bridging power to the fuel pump relay!

Here are a few pictures of what I have done, Also the ECu is chipped so tonight or tomorrow I will drive it I'm hoping to be able to tell the power difference! also I would like to send thanks out to Phataz who has helped me out with parts and been a good forum member!

Looks good chap. Nice to see progress alloys look good black but I've always been a fan of a black and red combo.

how'd you manage to get the strutbrace to fit over the brake fluid res? Done away with the sensor?

Right she's back on the road, found the gear linkage was out so adjusted that, couple of the driveshaft bolts were lose! And generally just running it back in! Going to the garage I use to work on Saturday for two smaller tyres on the back and a basic tune. Runs really well, the only thing is the idle is abit rough! Also going to raise the back 10mm :)

May either do as youve done and chop it out and just religiously check the levels more than usual or get a straight bar one like omp.

Lol yeah mate, id deffo get a hand to fit it, as the one i had took persuading to get it to sit flush. The brake fluid cap is annoying but it would only take a couple of mins to top up as you can take the middle piece out! More updates on your car needed!

Hey long time no updates! drove the car for 6 months then decided to bring it of the road for improvements and wanted something abit more comfortable for winter. In the 6 months on the road I didn't do much mechanically but got most of the car reprayed so the paint is really good now.

Long time no updates!

I have fully rebuilt the back brakes with new cylinders and bearings :)

Under sealed most of the car, ground down the rear axle and painted it. paint the shockers and springs.

Just to show how clean the paintwork is :)

I've also raised the car I'm afraid it now sits at 60/40. also today fitted a new stereo. Have lots of plans so working my way through the list of things to do at the minute :)

Yeah matey got it sorted in the end runs pretty well now! Wish I would of brought it first instead of replacing tonnes of other things!!

After a trip to steve (86C) got myself a really tidy set of g40 seats to replace my shot GT interior, a rear door car and a gt steering damper! even got help fitting the seats there and then! so a really good weekend, after spending all of saturday morning fixing my daily 325

Cheers mate :) I've tried all sorts, but boiled linseed oil is amazing, it lasts like 2 months then just a quick wipe over and it's all good again. I'm glad I tried it. Got fed up of back to black every week or two!
