VW Polo 6n 5 door

Featured Replies

Hi there, unfortunately it is time to sell my polo. I have had the car for the last 2 years and loved every minute of owning it!. I am only selling due to buying a van to go travelling in!

So the cars information:

Its a 1997 VW Polo 6n 1.4 8vCL (5 doors). Milage is 105,000. It will be continued to be used till this Saturday (25th). I'll check when the tax runs out, I think its in 4 months, and the MOT is in March 2013. It has modifications which are listed below:

- Ta Technix coilovers 100mm down at the front 70mm down at the back, only been on for 2 months

- K&N filter including cool air feed

- Bonnet Bra

- Uprated speakers inside

- Re-sprayed by hand in Matt Black wit matt green bonnet/grille rail.

- 6n rear lights sprayed all red.

- VW Borbet 14" alloys

The good points:

- Cheap to insure

- 45+ on fuel economy (using Redex) 40+ normally

- Great fun to drive and quick to pick up

- Loads of recipts, past MOT certificates, log book and everything is present!

The bad points:

- As the car is 15 years old it has a few dints here and there but nothing serious.

- Under surface rust has just started to show through the rear wings, I have tret these and resprayed.

- The car has been sprayed using rattle cans but the overall outcome isnt too bad!

Anyway a couple of pictures for you!
