I've tried many ways of making tea... This seems to get me the best results

Add Sugar and teabag 1st

Add water

Leave for a minute or 2 (or about 10 when you walk off and completely forget about it )

Stir, squeeze bag and remove

Add milk, whilst stirring until the perfect finish is acquired.

Sit back, and 'aaahhhhhh'

Has to be filtered water too, tap water leaves stuff floating about on top (water around here anyways)

That's how I do it too. Non of that filtered tap water here tho Toby, most of my tea's water content comes from the old limescale coated boiler at work, the floaty bits add to the taste

4 steps for the perfect brew.

1. for a perfect brew you'll need to add the right amount of tea bags to the pot.(a good method to start with is one bag for every cup you are going to make plus one for the pot)

2. add enough hot nearly boiling water to the pot for the amount of tea your going to make,stir and leave for 5 minutes.

3. add the required amount of milk first, adding the milk last will denature the proteins in the milk and cause a bitter taste.

4. add sugar to taste.
