2 brand new wheel bearings but still a small whirring?

Featured Replies

I just fitted 2 brand new rear wheel bearings on my mk2 but there's still a tiny 'whirring' noise.

i'm just wondering if this is down to the cars age (23) or might be because i didn't put in new outer bearing parts as the older ones were fine, no pitting or marks. and i definitely used more than enough grease ha.

anyone shed some light on this?

the tyre's pretty much brand new man, i'm guessing it's just the bearing shells.
