I have a friend from over on an aircooled VW site (OK I know) who has finally bought a Polo and is trying to join here but is having trouble.

He has signed up as Onepointfour but can't log on. I remember there were some issues a while ago with people signing up and wondered if this was still happening.

Unfortunately the forum back-end is old, and the spammers have got an easy way around the security validation - so it means we have to approve accounts manually which takes a lot of time!

New forum software should address this issue, but we're currently waiting on a third party to complete the migration for us.
