is this possible and what bottom ends best?. and what benefits would there be?

I'm going to be running bike carbs and would like to do a few more mods to the engine, cam etc etc..

what else would you guys would do?

If your set on keeping it looking original then the ABD bottom end, or full engine, the head is the same.

Yer. Just fancy havin a mess about with the 1.3 8v at the mo mate. I know people are gonna say why spend money on not much power but a 1.4 afh could only be run on bike carbs as I really cba to convert to ecu etc...

I also wanted a smallish engine as I'm going to be fully smoothing the ba and getting rid of everything into other places exept the engine etc.

put a 1.6 AEE in there. looks the same as a 1.3 pretty much!

75bhp 100 torque, if you do some mods to them they pull really well!

yeah you can get a 268 or a 272 cam but you need a vernier pulley to get the timing spot on.

Also should. Use that engines gearbox for could I use my 5 speed off the 1.0l

you can use your 5 speed

bolts in the same way as an AFH so have a look on the conversion guide in the engine FAQ's
