What can I do to make my polo faster?

Featured Replies

I have a 1.3 carb mk2 breadvan, just wondering what I could do to make it quicker? And also what engines would fit straight in?

thanks

This is covered a great deal mate.

everything from G40 conversions, GT or AFH swaps, bike carbing your existing engine or going injection is all covered and talked about extensively on the forum. Check the FAQ as well in the engine section.

I'm going the AFH on bike carbs route with my mk2.

my mk3 has a 1.6 handbuilt engine with twin 40 dellorto's, bigger valves, been cammed, stainless pistons and some other stuff, including a nos kit, but i've got that disconnected haha and it's pretty good fun :)

Lighten it. AEE is another engine option. (1600 8V)

Stick it on a trailer.

Find an Overfinch Range Rover with a towbar.

Only drive downhill, the steeper the better, for a one off speed run use a cliff.

Make the missus get out.

If your not always taxi-ing people around you could remove all the rear interior and whatever other parts you dont need

Stick it on a trailer.

Find an Overfinch Range Rover with a towbar.

fuck that, toureg v12 ;)

cut the roof off and add a bean cap,

best and safest option

Fuck that. G65 AMG please. :)

slam it to the ground = better aerodynamics

slam it to the ground = better aerodynamics

It's as aerodynamic as a brick with wheels, lowering it will make it seem faster as it's closer to the road, the only real way is more horsepower by whatever means

might have been joking.... fit a spoiler race cars have them!

seriously check the engine section where this type of question are asked

it also seems you dont know the basic principle of car engine modifactions and even though you've been on here over a year you dont know that a gt engine will drop straight in yet :retard:
