Hi, It's been a while and now it's finally finished, I started with a standard 6n2 GTi and wanted to make it my own. It had quite a few body issues and with the business my dad's in I'm not allowed to be seen in a none mint car which sometime sucks! It's my first VW and it's like I've been bitten by a bug because I am now in love with them, I wanted a car that people stop and think that looks sweet as I do to other dubs. I wanted to get a car low never done it before as I'm a complete novice when it comes to medication. My last car was a Vectra SRi X pack 2 was smart but couldn't drop it on the ground. We started repairing the bodywork in mind that we were just going to respray it silver then my dad said let's change the colour which got me thinking! My dad supplies bodyshops and sprays cars for fun so I ran with the idea, I looked at colours from candy white to even orange but decided on grey. I went to one of our paint suppliers and started messing with blends of grey, it took about 6 or 7 tinters to get the shade of pearl grey I went for but I'm pretty happy with the outcome. I said lets have a black roof and mirrors to go with the recently refurbed 16" rxii that have black centres and a chrome lip, result! So after nine agonising weeks without a car the outside was finally finished with a little inside done too, I'm a massive music fan and needed some decent sound so swapped all speakers for components. More on that to come as I'm thinking of a false floor with subs in a show cage then working towards retrimming the front seats in red leather, all stuff to keep me busy and out of trouble ha!! The car as it sits is pretty low and does rub a little, as people say if your not rubbin' your not dubbin' but then again the car only gets driven 10% for uni and 90% for fun so it's all good!! My sisters partner is a great photographer so when the car was finished I got them both on a train from Leeds to get some snaps of the car and the outcome is below... I would really appreciate some feedback from you guys and suggestions on what else could be done... by the way plate is because 77 is my favourite number and OVE being my nickname :) Much appreciated Jonothan

You're certainly doing something right! Your car looks amazing

IMO keep the 16in RXii's, as they're hard to come by (especially in 4x100 form)
