drivers window wont work

hi i was woundering if someone could tell me what is wrong with my 6n1 polo drivers side window.

when i press the button the revs drop slightly and i cant find which fuses in the manual and woundering if it could be a motor issue

There is only one thermal resetable trip switch (fuse) for both windows, as you can hear the engine rev's dropping it sounds more like the motor assembly/mechanism has failed/stuck.

The trip switch is clipped to the top of the fusebox

Also worth checking the wiring between the door an a pilar, just pull the rubber gator away from the a pillar, and have a look at the wiring, most probably either the red/white or brown wire has Brocken.

If they have them they will need to be resoldered using a section of wire a little thicker then it and cut away the Brocken parts. Also worth covering all these wires in a non conductive grease as this will cut down on the friction.

This - revs dropping when you press the switch, well that means some serious ampage is being pulled by the circuit. So something is trying hard. Motor is either seized or can't pull the mechanism for something else being stuck.
