Don't leave items of value on public display for the taking then? It could have just been taken because it looks unwanted, people take things layed out infront of houses all the time, for whatever reasons, recycling etc....

Scrap metal sells pretty well incase you didn't know.

Weve stripped the whole house and have all the old appliances in need of vanishing (it costs us to take them to the tip)........been there in the drive for 3 weeks and not a single pikey has been round to "nick" them

Don't know any pikey's in Wales, or I might have been able to help you out...

Can't you phone council and say someone's dumped a load of old appliances in our driveway? And get them to shift it? (just a guess)

^^ Our council pick them up for free.

After i've played with them, nicked random bits that'd ' surely be useful for something, one day'..
