What scares me about this is the kids issue. Toddlers don't pick up alcohol off the floor and eat it, like they do with bits of mud and shirt buttons - if we get sloppy with pea-sized lumps of strong smoke then there are gonna be some tragic headlines.

I agree, I've never seen anyone stoned in a fight and of course, its not potentially as destructive as Crack, coke etc. So there's something we agree with But obviously my stance on drugs is not to legalise, if you catch my jist

i was just refering to weed as that was what the thread was about, but yeah obviously legalising some drugs would be very dangerous indeed imo

i don't think that legalising would increase the amount in circulation tho really, it's very rarely that you can't get any as it is. if the usual people haven't got any in then someone ill know someone that has, i guess it would just mean you would no longer need to phone around trying to find out who has some in. i think you would be surprised at just how many people actually grow this shit now tho, and i'm not talking gangsters and shit, just normal people with jobs and children trying to make a little extra to pay the bills, i know loads of people that either grow it to sell on or have done in the past

mikey people will be sloppy no matter what, most people that smoke weed these days don't even see it as a crime anyway. maybe it's just around here tho? i'm not sure but people walk around the streets smoking it casual as you like, it's just an everyday thing for most. if someone's going to be stupid enough to leave some strong skunk where kids can get holed of it, then they will be stupid enough to do that no matter what's it's legal status, people probably do it all the time as is

the same reason i try not to drink stella in front of them, whether they know what it is or not, your still getting pissed in front of your kids. Having a quick top (that is what its called with whisky ain't it?) is one thing, but sitting having a proper drink whether it be whisky, stella or whatever is a bit much imo, kids pick up on shit way too easily

now drinking in public has never really been an issue for me if i'm honest

Dont see the point in smoking weed for me, as it stays in your system for 3+ months and with random drugs tests where i work its just not worth it so i stopped it 3 years ago now... cant say anything about all the other stuff though
