Model: Vw Polo Mk3 Coupe

Engine: 1.0l converted from 4 speed to 5 speed :-p

Suspension: On lowering springs at the moment coilover conversion should be happening very soon 8-)

Brakes: All standard at the moment....

Wheels and Tyres: 13" BBS mahles (getting a refurb again; Fancy a bit of a change :-p )

Exterior Styling: Debadged grill, GT badges, clear indicator lens, GT arches, smoked back lens, black sunroof . . .

Interior Styling: Mk2 Scirocco front buck seats, 320mm omp steering wheel, fifth gear shifter :p . . .

Future plans: Still deciding on what conversion to carry out, full respray (same colour), rebuild the engine with a nut and bolt rebuild :D , coilover conversion will be done very soon and wheels refurbed again :) might have not included some things but will do later ;)

Pictures:

Starting from the beginning when i brought her she was falling apart she had no carpet, rear bench, parcel shelf centre console this is what she looked like !

When the car went for an M.O.T everything was perfect except the shocks all around were knackered and the front two springs were cracked that's when i thought for now il raise the car so i went and brought new shocks and springs all round and fitted them on. during this period before i started driving her daily i brought the gt arches, smoked rear lights, 6n splitter, and the red stripe in the bumper. i also completed the interior but fitting black carpet, parcel shelf and a centre console :-D this is when the car was back to life (i also removed the checked flag on the bonnet :)

Thats how i was driving it around for a few months until i could get some money together and start to make some changes to it.

After that i found a set of 13"s :-D this is how i found them in a shop window :p

When i saw them i had to buy them there and there !

Soon as i hand my hands on them i got them shotblasted

IMG00171-20100609-1237.jpg

I started to sand and polish them

IMG00181-20100609-1907.jpg

And eventually i got them polished

IMG00186-20100610-2026.jpg

Then i wanted them highly polished so i got them machined from a friend and powercoated on the centre

Once i got all the wheels finished it was tempting to get a set of lowering springs all round and put my wheels on so here is how it looks 8-)

I really really like this! Normally as soon as I see bright coloured wheels I think "gayyy", but the red centres tie in nicely with the other red touches on the car 8-) 8-) 8-)

Would drive that myself I know that much!
