As title, i can't get mine off the original Mk4 alternator.

Shove it in a vice with some softjaws mate

I know its lame but i have not vice, means i can enjoy activities like danger angle grinding.

I've got 2 mk4 alts if thats any help.

Fair play. On my first one i just jammed a screwdriver inside the alt to stop it spinning. Obvs youll ruin the mk4 alt but oh well

dont have one for sale, but i had the same issue as you getting it off. I took it to my local garage who kindly did it for nothing with an air gun as it only took seconds. surely worth a go. money to spend elsewhere eh? :-D

low bay has sorted me out hopfully as he had something else i wanted as well.
