Sadly I've got to put my golf up for sale, just had a second kid and it's a little bit too small, So I am getting a passat and I cannot afford to keep two cars so her we go,

It's a 5 door oak green golf gti 8v, i have owned the car for just over 12 months and it's a top fun car and it hasn't put a foot wrong, I have fitted few parts to bring the car up to scratch including,

-a pair of track rods and full wheel alignment,

-four new toyo proxies t1r tyres,

-service

-Distributor cap and rotor arm

-Accelerator cable

-Ecu temp sensor (genuine)

-Low pressure oil sensor (genuine)

-New drivers exterior handle

Has a few trick bits fitted

-Coilovers (ride is firm but very nice)

-braided brake hoses all round

-fully poly bushed all round

-eibach front and rear up rated antiroll bars

-full stainless exhaust

-four branch manifold

-piper cross panel filter and drilled air box

-kenwood flip front cd player

-updated speakers (JBL I think)

Also has a few standard extras

-electric front window

-power steering

-central locking

-sunroof

-16v interior (I think)

-MFA

The car is super fun to drive and if you just cruise I have seen over 40mpg on a good run and usually sits around 30-33 mpg around town and shorter trips

Bad bits (it's a 21 year old car it had to have some)

-the bottoms of the doors are a little scabby but solid

-there is a couple of areas of lacquer peel (bonnet and little on roof)

-the paint on the rear bumper is flaking off, looks like it has been painted in the past and not prepped correctly

-few paint chips on front bumper and edge of bonnet

-both passenger door handles are a little tricky to open, just needs some handles on (hence I replaced the drivers handle)

-the sun roof wind deflector could do with a refurb as its a bit corroded

-sun roof arms are rusty, I have a pair of brand new ones that I will chuck in the car if I don't have time to fit them

-windscreen has a few chips in it but cheap enough to get a replacement

-drivers seat has the usual bolster wear

All in all it's a top daily driver but won't win any shows

-Tax is up at the end of the month but if it goes before I swap my insurance I'll stick six months on for the new owner

-mot until October 22 again if it's a deal breaker I'll stick a fresh one on as I know it'll go straight through

Money wise I think it's gotta be worth £1100 but I am open to offers

Only advisories were the chips in the windscreen and the rear brake pipes are slightly corroded

Also has a full tank of fuel

Just put a full tank of fuel in it so its ready to go, open to offers as I have just brought a new car so need this gone asap

I have given the wind deflector a quick rub down and a lick of paint and fitted the deflector arms

Also put some new wiper blades on as they weren't the best

Mk3 tdi?
