Basically i brought my polo around a month ago from a garage, after a day the emission light came on and stayed on, i rang the garage and took it back over, they sent me to the mechanics they use, also to add my electric windows do not work either. Anyway i took it over and they had it for a week, they said it was the coil pack and an injector which they replaced, but couldn't work out why the windows wouldn't work as it wasnt they regulator, they told me to call a car electrical engineer (any help??) After driving home the light came on again but went off, but since then the engine has felt lumpy and doesn't want to pull off without alot of revs (slightly awkward) so today i got in her and now the emissions light is constantly flashing and the cars shaking and has lost alot of power, i no its only a 1.4 but its very noticeable, so does anyone have an idea of whats up with my windows and central locking from inside the car (works off key fob) and my emissions light and engine miss fire. I must note it has a custom power flow exhaust system on it. Any help or thoughts please

The emissions light flashing is because of a misfire!

Sounds like the garage replaced the coilpack and possibly got the leads on the wrong way..

But would it just randomly do this a few weeks on? since i got it, its felt abit lumpy on tick over and pulling off

Under low revs and a high low would be where it's great. It's easier to produce spark at high revs.

HT leads, or a dying coilpack is usually the issue. If the light is flashing, it WILL have logged a code, a scan with a computer will reveal the issue..
