I don't think it's a case of being scared to get stuck in, but rather being more realistic. It is by no means an easy task and most people won't have the tools or skills to do it, but also won't be able to pay for it to be done either. Some people are a little niave too and have an idea that any engine will go into any car easily, so we've seen it all before on here. People make the plans, but can't follow them through. If you can, that's great and I look forward to seeing it. I for one know I just couldn't do such a big job

I'm not niave i just no that with work any engine will go in any chassis, and I'm making plans that will happen, iv given up on the 20vt lump as its not a very good lump for what it is. ill be converting to rwd either zetec or mazda :)

What you are saying is very true.

I/we are a company that have both Workshop and Body shop and between me and my business partner have the know how and skills etc..

This is the problem i have with the 20VT lump, The KR is far better for power this is why i intend on putting one in the MK1 shell. I have both sitting here and if the 20Vt fit so will a KR.

OK if all things work out as planned i hope to start getting things moving end of this month

Problem is that we are doing 3 other projects for paying customers so it is when time permits.

Also have other projects of our own.

I know exactly what is going to be done and how it will look.
