i have 2 fuel cut off switches for sale

definately needed for bike carbs just incase of a crash and can also be good as an extra security feature

Wouldn't advertise them as a security feature,

If you have to shock it to activate it as such, then reset everytime. They get weak and would release themselves on the smallest of knocks.

I have over 20, and have only found about 3-4 that are any good

These are both good and working taken off new renaults 02 and 04 plate

Wasn't saying they're not, I just wouldn't advertise as a method of immobilisation as they wear out

yes perfect for running carbs mate probably better with carbs than injection tbh

Go on the wiring to the fuel pump so if you crash it cuts te fuel pump off and so no fuel is pumped into the engine bay or carbs

Does it turn the fuel off when the engine isnt running?

So i could leave the ignition on with out the fuel pump filling my carbs?

No.

It's a switch which is permanently "on" when set (closed circuit)

You attach it to something rigid (bulkhead)

When you have a hard impact (crash) it "pops" which breaks the contact, thus breaking the circuit (opens the switch) so the fuel pump won't be pumping fuel everywhere when you're unconscious in the drivers seat..

You can reset it by pushing it down, this is back on, to break the circuit it needs a shock (thus being referred to as a "body shock" inertia switch)

However, if you wanted to use it as an immobiliser, you'd finish your journey, shock it, fuel pump won't work. Get back in. Reset it and off you go.

But they wear, quickly. They're not designed to be shocked and shocked over and over, they get to a point where the tiniest knock will break the circuit, so that's why I said i wouldn't advertise them as a method of immobilisation, even if they were new :)
