i want to get rid of my very large washer bottle and put a small one near my fuse box, any one have any ideas ? i cannot see an faq on the site,

Don't quote me on this bit pretty sure people use corsa b (possibly c) ones as they're much smaller but the original vw pump is a straight fit So pretty much "plug and play". Assuming you have a mk3 like your thing says

Shove 1 in the boot, utilise the rear washer pipe to spray as fronts and there you go, it's completely out the way :-)

sorry i didnt put what car , yes like it says under my name i drive a mk3. sounds like an interesting idea being in the boot however would still like it in the engine bay, i have seen one near the fuse box before at vw festival in leeds, however it had been done by the previous owner.

can any one else clarify the corsa b / c washer bottle ? or know of another possibility ?

Enquirer about the washer bottle on my mates fiesta then he told me it was a manual pump jobby haha

I went to a scrappy the other week to see , an had no luck . At least this way it will make things easier for every body else who is interested in doing this little mod , so keep them coming.

Very early mk2 item. Its tiny, but mounts nicely behind the scuttle next to the fuse box

i just went on ebay and there are no mk2 ones for sale, would of been good to see a pic. i want a square or rectangular one, the one in the pic above is good

MICRA K10 Bracket, bottle and pump. polo plug fits micra pump, polo pump doesent fit micra bottle. fits next to scuttle.

I'm lazy sorry but i'd sell mine as i haven't got a scuttle to use it with anymore.

It's how I've always done it. Early spec rear washer bottle tucks in the rear quarter panel nicely. Polos don't need any more sources of moisture round the fusebox.

The bottle just screws in, holes are already there. Intercept your rear washer hose (take the bellows off where it goes through to the bootlid then yank the hose off being the rough way of doing it). Thread it down to your new bottle.

Then take your front bottle out, and join the hoses you're left with together. Run a wire to the bottle in the boot and you're basically there.

I had a look at the bottle in my Corsa C today. Looks like a front one from a mk1/early mk2 Polo!
