I'm trying to locate some mesh with a similar look to on this picture:

i know there is the standard weave mesh that is used alot on chavy cars but i need something like in the pic really

also the clips I'm after something similar too

anyone got any ideas?

yeah the clips i have found from dealer but the mesh i am struggling with, ebay is full of the standard looking mesh

B&Q do loads of different pattern pressed sheets like that, mainly in aluminium, but the prices are just plain out of order.

Alternatively, you might wanna try this stuff - it's what i use to make car induction filters for airboxes instead of the original paper element. Great for any type of air filter including for bike carbs, we use it for vent screens at work to stop flies/moths etc from getting into the building..

Hard to explain the rigidity, but you'll need a fair few of those clips.. wouldn't be a good idea, might pull lines in it.

You'd clip on a rigid strip around the edge ideally, to hold it evenly, and even then it probably wont all sit perfectly flat. Place a can of coke in the middle and it'll dome with the weight.

It's hardly denim but it is effectively textile. I suppose like frozen denim!
