hey, basicly, I just got a new polo, a 9n3 and was wondering if this headunit will fit into where my old one was. not too sure if i will need any adapters or such. I have a sub, and just bought 6x9s also :)

yes, this will fit but you will need an adapter. i cant say for sure as i never used one, but from what i have read the car doesn't have a switched live as it uses canbus.

as for the sub woofer and 6x9's, you will have to run them off of amp which will connect to the the hu via rca cables, and this will have about 10 of them, so no worries there

It does have an ignition switched live fuse #10 5amp and the permanent supply #51 15amp

So it should just be plug and play then.

You might need an "ISO" to VW wiring adapter and an "ISO" to VW aerial adapter as the aerial has a powered amplifier in the base that needs get power from the headunit

Okay, so i Have it for a while now, never had a chance to try fit it etc etc, but i will need an adapter.

With that facia panel how would you fit the cage into it?? I know dumb question. But looking to do the same with my Gti. Cheers

If the cage fits then just slide it in, if like me it didn't then just slide the headunit in and there are holes for countersuit screws to secure it.

But be warned it isn't easy to get the thing out again so make sure it's all plugged in correctly. I broke the screen part clean off on mine trying to get it off
