If they google maps my house, they'll know instantly that the bloke who had the house before us parked his car on the drive, not in the garage.

I'm working on mine in both the most recent time lines - in '07 it's on axle stands and the recent one the hatch is up with the front centre caps missing.

I guess that's only a problem to those who are being liberal with the truth about where their cars are parked.. and yes I know that google street view is well out of date, but it does show whether a house has a driveway or not, which is the reason why we look at it.

Mines down as on the road anyway as its cheaper

I don't fancy parking outside Sky insurance's premises, narrow street of units with commercial vehicles everywhere - i don't like risking my pride and joy around areas like that..

Anyway it's always worth checking the less obvious to see if it's cheaper, fully comp on mine was barely more expensive than TPFT.

Fully comp is cheaper for me than TP or TPF&F, it's also cheaper to park on the street than on the drive.

Insurance works in strange ways.

And for the record my house can't be seen from street view

Weird situation happen to me today. I'm selling my civic, its modified. I put addvert on ebay. and i dont know how but my insurance company found it, and checked it. and send me a letter telling to ring them. So i did. because i didnt tell insurance about mods they cancel it

Can they do like that? can they checking people? I feel like its no more private life, they like spies.

and i lost my no claims, and plus gona have to pay fee because insurance canceled.

That's alright, my policy says where the car is normally stored at night. Google maps go round in the day.

We have an underground car park, car park in our back garden and another car park up the road, we're alright for parking :-)

Strangely though, the MD still parks outside on the road.

^^ Know who's gold Fiesta that is on that street? Proper rare now, the late 90's oval front Si and almost extinct in that colour scheme. Good to drive, but they rusted faster than Montegos!

Steve - my phone shows the whole planet when i look at the weather, and it shows the light correct to the time of day. So i can see where is night time and where is in the dark. The towns light up with the street lights etc, it's pretty cool.

Doesn't zoom in far enough, though..
