Anyone know where would sell lockwire, but a local shop, not mail order? Doubt halfords/b&q or anything like that will, but trying to think of a use thats not car related etc?

Try and find an engineer @ Coventry airport. Lock wire is used on all componets on aircraft CAA requirement, the local Snap-on van man might have it?

I can source some, thats not a problem, I just wanted some today lol, ah well will wrap manifold next week!

Use a bit of domestic earth wire, down the electrical aisle of most diy places.

Copper would look odd

Why not use stainless steel cable ties, which are supplied with exhaust wrap? Halfords sell them.

I have some already, also they're £8 a pack from halfords !
