I'm considering breaking my 6n g40 as I've had nothing but time wasters and i really need the room now

I'm just wanting to see what interest i get in parts to see if its worth while breaking it spec is as follows

Engine

G40 engine conversion with all gaskets and seals replaced always run on quantum sytna oil

atv internals in 6n gearbox casing

full blend charger only 500 miles since freshen up (i say freshen up as only 1 bearing and all seals were replaced)

toothed pulleys

gt inlet

4 branch

full stainless exhaust with diesel style tailpipe with painted hangers and new vw heat sheilds

alloy header tank

new rad

all new leads cap rotor serviced in the last 100 miles

big frontmount ic

stainless boost pipes with black samco hosing

new clutch done less than 2k

Suspension/Steering/Brakes

new genuine vw subframe and bottom arms powder coated in silver with new bushes and ball joints

recon non pas steering rack with new track control arms (pas removed as supercharger sits where pump would sit)

rear beam sand blasted and powdercoated silver replaced with new vw bushes

ebc grooved and spotted front discs with green stuff pads

new front wheel bearings with black painted hubs and callipers

new rear shoes,cylinders,adjusters and wheel bearings

g max 60mm shocks and springs approx 6 years old

RH Toplines 7x15 with 195/45/15 goodyear eagle f1s done about 1.2k only set I've seen

new inner and outer cvs

Interior

full 6n2 gti black leather seats with 6n2 rear cards and 6n cards trimed to match

genuine vw fitted carpet matts

golf mk3 centre console with boost guage

chrome hand brake and gear knob with leather gaitors

golf 16v clocks (160 mph) with seat ibiza orange needels

clifford concept 650 cat 1 alarm fitted about 7 months ago

Body

single wiper

clear indicators

badgeless grill

6n2 rears

16v bumpers

mk1 golf gti style side stripes

grey roof to match wheels and stripes

factory tinted glass

16v bootlid

wings bonnet bumpers mirrors grill surround roof wheels have all been resprayed

rrd at the club polo rolling road day in jan and made 134 bhp with 140ftlbs of torque

i will only break if there is enough interest in the bigger parts ie engine conversion (will sell as whole 6n conversion with wiring loom boost pipes ect everything to put into 6n) interior and wheels.Engine can be seen/heard running and driven

would be such a shame to break such a cool car after so much work, have you tried advertising it on Edition 38,Pistonheads etc? i know there's another Polo forum site but not sure of the name...

I've tried e38 club g40 ebay here and pistonheads to get nothing but time wasters 3 of which arrainged to view and didnt show up or even let me no they wernt coming only one person has come to view and decided that he wanted a newer golf it owes me so much money that I've had enough of looking at it and it doesnt get used as i have a pickup for work and when i need a car i use the mrs audi.Dont what to do with it really dont want to break it though

are you going to put prices on all the separate bits so we can see what your wanting as i may be interested in a few bits

and love the wheels hope you do manage to sell it all looks a great car

How much for the engine? What mileage has it got?

Will only sell the engine as a complete 6n conversion as if i sell just the engine i will be left with a load of 6n parts

probably missed bits out but everything you need to get it running in a 6n bar exhaust but will sell exhaust with the conversion for £1600 conversion doesnt include alloy header tank,battery box or carbon washer bottle

Engine has done around 130k but has had pretty much everything replaced bar pistons and crank

Wheels I'm after £600

Full leather interior including door cards gear gator and handbrake gator I'm after £600
