Hello, I'm Louie i live in cumbria need this is my first post on here, but I've been on this site for a while now as i was going to get a polo, but ended up with this! got it for a bargin £125. its a 1988 jetta 4+e 1.8 manual, been lowered all round think its down about 70-80mm on fk coilovers, has early audi 80 wheels, mk2 gti rainbow front seats, and only 107000 miles on it, not to bad for a 24 year old car, it was originally nato green, but had faded really bad so i painted it matt black, with a roller! was actually very happy with the result.. cant complain for 15 pounds worth of paint and a 3 pound roller haha! was ment to be getting a car a few month ago, but unfortunaitly had a bike accident that put me in hospital for a few months and I'm now a cripple so I'm trying to do what i can but i'll post some pictures up of the progress so far!

then some purple details got done! and a few interior bits..

would like to hear people thoughts on it, good or bad, and would like to hear some ideas to! baring in mind this owes me £180 up to now! cheers guys

haven't you seen the number of people who get their new bmw's ect wrapped matte/satin black? Hardly rat.

It looks alot better in black than green. Look forward to more!

Have you been driving it on the road or is it just an ornament for the minute?
