Yo, I'm new on here, usually on edition38 forum.

I've recently bought myself a 6n2 gti, finding the right one took ages.

Then I found this, 68k miles on the clock, recent cambelt, tensioner and waterpump. Had the gearbox replaced within the last year and has also had the pedal box recall done within the last 2 years. Only problem I've had with it so far is the alternator packed up.

This was my previous car

That was my Ibiza, only a 1.4 8v, loved it but wanted something abit quicker.

So I got this

I then debadged it

Resprayed the front splitter as paint was flaking off

I then decided to put some 15 inch steels on while I referb the bbs but I don't think I'm gonna bother with them.

Then put my Ibiza coilovers on it

Vauxhall omega wheel trims

Mercedes wheel trims

What do you think so far?

Yeah the Ibiza was nice man cheers, just too slow and body condition was terrible.

No real update but where I had changed the suspension my tracking was out by far so I raised the front to get the gauges on

Then I thought I'd try the speedlines on before I took the tyres off.

The fronts were okay but the rears are way too wide for the polo.

Then I took the tyres off, for repolish or sell?

They're 15s, fronts are 7s et 35 and rears are 9s et 7.

Not 100% selling them yet, but PM me a offer anyway :)

Had a play with some orange lense repair tape, tinted front indicator amber like the 6n's, I did a crap job so I took it back off.

Might go down the us route, get the us rear lights, amber side repeaters and us running lights on the front bump strip like the mk4 golfs, not sure yet though :s

Gave her a oil and filter change, and added a fuel treatment to clean out the injectors.

Orange indi's look cool. Don't care what anyone says thats a fact

Decided to paint the badge on the grill black, not to sure about it though :s

Need to get some non gb number plates made up and I'm gonna smooth the number plate recess out of the bump strip :)

So the black bit behind my rear vw badge was faded to a dirty Grey color, so I took it off and painted it silver and laquared it. I think it looks a lot cleaner :)

You need to get it off, then get all the glue off of the 4 pins that hold the chrome bit to the badge and I then pryed it off slowly with a credit card or something.

Decided to give her a clean, pretty pointless really as its winter now :(

Need some new winter wheels, I'm not too keen on the Mercedes trims.

So I got some pressed plates in the end

Fitted them, looks much better I think.

And also had the dent guy round at work to get some dents out, 4 dents for £40. Well happy.

Will be going lower soon once I've had a notch and also gonna put a chrome badge back on the front :)

So I made a start on making center caps for the speedlines. Took some spare center caps from my old work, the clips on the underside are 4x100.

Had to cut them down to size as they were too big.

Gonna get some hex bits and plastic weld it to the middle.

Hopefully get the caps to look like this

Not sure on what colour to do my centers?
