We've had it suggested a few times. No one's yet managed to tell us what they would want one to do though?

I can see the point in more complicated sites having a mobile skin, but the sites skin is really basic and works on pretty much any phone that can get on the internet?

it will be easier than typing it in on the internet .... because ideally you would click on the app and you are already signed and for a good idea it would give you notifications such as the mailbox or the topics you have put up .... ideally it would make life soo much easier

There's a way that you can do it so you don't have to go into your browser to get onto the site.

1: Go onto safari and log into clubpolo

2:click the icon in the bottom of the screen (box with arrow coming out)

3: select "Add to Home Screen"

4: Name the shortcut

5: Go onto your home screen and find the new shortcut

6: Press the Shortcut and it should bring you straight to the clubpolo homepage

I would like one, I can't use the forum on my mobile for some reason, I just can't select any text boxes (i.e. the keyboard doesn't display).

If you click "My Controls" then it's something like "Email Settings" down on the left, you can set the board to email you a link when a pm is received, or someone posts on a thread you're subscribed to.

Love the idea but like curty said above just add a shortcut, it's just as easy :)

I don't really see how you can make it much simpler tbh.

And this isn't Facebook here.

"if this gets 100,000 likes this has to happen"

I vote no as you can pretty much set up everything be it notifications, messages etc to be easy to access with one or two touches anyway.

Id rather our admin people concentrated on other things as a club - or work on their own cars.

If this is something we wanted to do, it would probably be best to migrate to one of the forum software's already serviced with apps.

Also i use android ;) and if we did an Iphone app i would take um-bridge with the rampant discrimination.

I'm on here like every hour of the year.

And not even i need an app.

It's not looking like a resounding yes quite yet

isn't that just a bookmark? :?

You can make bookmarks a shortcut on the home screen

Is there an app for doing that? :p

Yeah, there's an app for just about well anything

Even i dont need an app.

And i live here.

Haha

As above guy said put it to home screen, here's mine:

a lot of sites apps are fucking pointless, it's just a short cut to it which does nothing more than bookmarking it would. i see no reason why this site would be any different?

Oh my days, mine is IDENTICAL to that! Minus the soundboards!

I just keep a window open in my browser? Rarely go on a computer tbf

I don't know how to put my screen up :(

1) screen-shot your phone (press sleep and home together)

2) go into your pics, and email it to yourself so you can pick it up on a PC, then upload it to Photobucket

OR

2) Go into your pics and upload it to photobucket

3) paste the link on here :)

He doesn't have an iPhone

He doesn't have an iPhone

then he's no longer welcome here!

iphone is ancient, dated, history. The latest has-been king of the past, like Playstation and Rubiks cube.

More dated than Ulrika Jonsson - just when Mac needed the iphone5 to be a revolution, it was introduced as a weak evolution.
