Jamiroquai keeps me chilled out whilst driving the downside is because my car has poor sound insulation properties (thank you vinyl soft top), everyone can hear the brass, strings and woodwind sounds along with the scatting.

Listening to mp3 players while driving? Really???

Plugged into my stereo of course...

!m!

You can't beat a good bit of Daft Punk, Sabaton*, Van Canto** or Rammstein (metal, basically).

Hey, someone else who knows of the metal history lesson that is Sabaton, that's a rarity :-D

Know of any other similar and obscure bands?

depends what ime doing, some deep dubstep or 'gangsta' music while sat in traffic, or some good dnb or bassline if ime out having a drive :)

DUBSTEP! i listen to it so much i forget my car is really noisy, it hides car noises pretty well

but when i have a normal passenger i dont play music and i get embarrassed as its pretty bad, its the roads fault!

Deep medi, Real hip hop. 1990's shit..

DMZ Roots etc..( REAL DUBSTE ) Not this wank dubstep metal/skrillex shite .... lol

Full swampers only in my car ;)

Good Charlotte

Blink-182

All American Rejects

Sum 41

American Hi-Fi

Bowling for Soup...

and a bit of Taylor Swift ;)

I thought I was getting into dubstep, then I realised I'd got an exhaust clamp rattling on the floorpan.

Loving the 80's lately haha.

I was listening to Radio 2 some time ago and this came on:

I'm surprised I didn't crash because my mind sure as hell wasn't on the road during and after it was playing, I just had 'Whaaaat the fuuuuuuuck' going around and around in my head.

That was in the charts i recon at the close of the '80s, i remember it vaguely as a teen, it was kinda like the charts had hit rock bottom and something had to be done - and it duly was, with the early '90s 8-)

I see that a lot too, ok fair enough if it's just one with a mic on it going to a phone but otherwise yeah, wtf!

I do that at work, prefer it to a bluetooth because I can take it out my ear and still be able to find it when the phone goes.

I've been known to stick some tunes on through it when I'm in a vehicle with no radio though!

just created an old school rap playlist for a laugh.

Biggie and Ice Cube are far better than the shit these radio stations play now. You say YOLO, i say nice person

* EDIT * since when did C!NT get edited into nice person hahahaha

Can't stand Skrillex and the likes, I don't mind some chilled dub that was getting produced years back before the dubstep scene went massively mainstream.

But driving music depends on my mood, old skool jungle sometimes, D&B, some deep house/130bpm sometimes.

Lately been listening to a lot of Nas and Jurassic 5 when driving to/from work.

as of late dubstep albums and enter shikari (love a flash of colour album). today i had some kate bush on. if i don't know what to put on i whack my ipod to shuffle, varies from metal (most of the sub-genres), dubstep, 80's, breakbeat, some pop, dance and trance
