hey guys well I'm thinking about selling the golf fancey a little cheap runner for over the winter months so the golf dosent get wasted

heres few bits about the golf

1990 g reg

1.6 auto

65k miles will rise as used daily

tax till december

test till january

coilovers on the front springs on the rear

gti front splitter

genuine vag dealer rear plate (pretty cool)

7 slat front grill

smoked headlights

tow eye cover (pretty hard to find)

dare rs 7j front et20 8j rear et 15

full set of 165/50/15 all round were brand new about 2-3000 mile ago (rears have plenty of stretch)

chrome stripe front bumper

front ambers wired as marker lights

cl side repeator blanks

rare bonnet vent grills cover

retro brown gl full interior including carpet parcel shelf and shelf supports

mk1 golf rear badge

lay flat rear wiper

polished exhaust

webber carb conversion

just had a full head rebuild including new cam belt,water pump,headgasket set,all fresh coolant,new plugs,leads,dizzy,rotar,arm,k+n replacement filter,new carb mounting gasket,

all this cost me just short of £250 and i did the work myself and the car runs spot on now (other than the above start problem) and pulls pretty decent for and old 85bhp auto engine

probably forgot some stuff

bad points: end of day the car is 24 years old and i like to be as honest as i possibly can

rear bumper has few scuffs

drivers door has a dent in the middle

bonnet is badly scratched

all 4 archs have been touched up due to arch rolling to make the wheels fit

both wings have slight laquer peel around the indicators

i think at some stage the car has had a bit of paint hear and there but no 1 has ever noticed unless i showed them where

the car is a bit of a grumpy arse to start been told the carb needs setting up to be honest i just have never got round to taking it to some 1 to set up sometimes it will start on the button and others you have to give it a bit of choke and pump throttle and it will go

anyway any more info you need or pics just ask I'm going to hopefully get the car on the jack and take loads of pics to show how clean this is underneath as it is absolutly spotless to be honest id be happy to sink stupid money into the shell as i think u will struggle to find 1 as solid as this without paying good money

price is £1400ono like say some might think its expensive but its what i want so not to bothered

although i would love to have that the insurence compaby I'm with at the mo are absolutly rubbish and wont let me inaire out like that they wont quate me on my bmw 318 so having to keep that off road till i renew in febuary

Swap for a mk1 polo, gt block Newman cam high comp pistons 8p gearbox ,comes with loads of spares and bike carbs
