Hi guys, I haven't been on here for a loooonnng time, but have found myself on here most lunchtimes for the past week. I still miss my 6n 16v after selling it about 3 years ago.

Just wondering if anyone on here owns it, to be honest, I very much doubt it as it was in a sorry state last time I saw it.

This was it, I miss it a ridiculous amount. Standard when I bought it but I did some little mods.

Then this is how it finished up looking in my ownership.

Sadly, I needed something faster in my life (wish i'd never bothered), so I let it go for £900 in early 2010 to my brothers friend, who removed the £100 stickers from the rear window, and sprayed the wheels black . I think the gearbox went, thermostat housing cracked, ht leads went, it fell off his jack, and he let the rust get much worse..... all within months of me selling it. I know the lad went on to sell it to someone in Birmingham and I doubt its still going to be honest.

I would love to hear that its been brought back to life, but if nothing else I've enjoyed looking back at pics of it, these little 16v's are under rated!

And i've just checked, and it's still insured too...

maybe you could ask DVLA for the current keepers details (they'll charge you, if they give the details. Also, AFAIK, they'll only give details out for a specific reason (i.e. if a private parking firm wants to send you a parking fine, which you don't have to pay)) then you could write the current owners a letter saying that you used to own the car, and you'd like to buy it back and see where it goes from there.
