So i decided to sell my 1990 Boxy shape Toyota Starlet and bought this Polo mk2 bready for €520.

It's running a little rough at the moment but i'm hoping to sort that out next week.

I'm loving it so far and thought i'd share it with ye since i'm a newbie and need polo driving friends...

Any suggestions on a cheap effective way to lower it would be a great help.

I really know feck all about modifying cars but would love to lower it perhaps 40mm at the back and 60mm at the front

and get a set of superlite wheels. What dya think?

you, i was looking at this one for a while and finally sold my starlet. It has a few tiny rust spots and definitely needs a service

but that'll all come in time haha. A few mates of mine went to that vw meet in belfast a week or 2 ago and said they didn't spot any breadvans there

so perhaps they'll even more scarce than i had thought.

Well we have to remember that the Breadvan, Coupe and Saloon are all the same car (apart from rear end) so I'm sure there were a couple of other polos there, I was for going but I ended up riding Motocross, much more fun than looking at cars. Anyway, there are a handful of guys I know from around here, in and around the Belfast area. But enthusiasts are scarce. try GTI Northern Ireland. (gtini.com) there are a couple of guys on there who seem to be very into all sorts of VWs, including Polos, and one guy in Particular called Andy who owns 3 Mk2f GTs, a G40, and a Mk2 S.
