1996 1.6 polo saloon

Featured Replies

right i've just bought another car so i need rid pretty quick, here's the info;

the car has 104k on the clock

it runs spot on, no trouble at all

pretty decent on fuel

taxed until dec 31st

huge boot (pretty deceiving given the car)

cambelt done in 2010, oil service done august 2011

i'll throw in the mp3/cd player if i get a decent enough price

interior is rip and tear free, as you'd expect for these things

bad points are;

it has some pretty unsightly rust around the rear arches and a few spots on the sills (see pics) these have all been there and gotten no worse in the 3 years i've owned the car

MOT expires Oct 31st

covered in various scratches

some faded paint on the passenger wing (has always been there and gotten no worse in my ownership)

it does have trouble starting some days if its a little damp, my assumption would be the plugs are on the way out as it has a very slight misfire on idle which i've just put up with, but it never fails to start after a couple of attempts.

i'd like £350 for the old girl, i'd happily keep if for another year, but to be honest i have no need for it as of today, in the three years i've owned it i've never been let down by it and it definitely has plenty of life left in her.

oh and I'm based in Redcar near Middlesbrough.

cheers!
