Tidy up the body work then wheels/coilovers personally I'd get a nice set of wheels first but every one seems to lower first. And do not paint anything on the interior it looks horrible and can never get the right finish.

Cant really afford wheels right now.

Will be fixing all the little rust spots and I'm going to fix the mess the previous owner left by removing the polo logo amd bump strips.

My little to-do list.

Get rid of rust spots and left behind glue.

Take out the rear wipor motor.

Maybe debadged front grill.

Clear indies

6n2 tail lights

Clear repeaters.

New wheels and tyres.

Any other ideas ? Cant afford coilovers and id have to get a garage to do it. Maybe in the future.

You can get coilovers cheap as chips mate, I spent £180 on mine back in the day and they lasted me fine, i fitted them myself and i'm no mechanic, just keep your head well away when you take the second strut off the back as the axle will fly up and the drum brake can hit you in the face and break your nose... and its painful.

I wouldnt bother with any of the above mods (lights etc) I'd just get it lowered!

Hello welcome to the forum.

you might find a cheap set of wheels on the for sale forums here,

i would sort some of the body work out, and i would personally stay away from painting interior bits.

also get lows on it :D

good luck your the progress mate your on the right forum. i was a new boy to polos about 6 months ago :D

also keep your eyes on other people build threads as it will give you some inspiration :D
